Centre for pain and disability management

The Centre for Pain and Disability Management program offers a five-week day program for those who experience chronic pain. Participants will learn ways to better manage their pain and improve overall functioning through active involvement in individual therapy, group education and planning sessions.

Driving assessment services

A driving assessment examines an individual’s ability to safely return to driving after a medical event, or if there are concerns with driving safety. This service consists of a two-part assessment, a clinical and a behind-the-wheel evaluation that is completed by an occupational therapist who specializes in the area of driving.

Day hospital

The rehabilitation day hospital offers services to people across the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, aged 18 and older with conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputations and sports-related injuries. The rehabilitation day hospital aims to help patients function at their best.
