Occupational Therapy

What we do

Occupational therapists (OTs) see clients for assessment and treatment of a variety of disorders including neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). We also assess and treat amputees as well as deconditioned elderly.

OTs help clients to regain their ability to do everyday activities. The frequency of treatment may vary depending on the need and service required. Your OT will work with you to determine an individualized treatment plan once you are assessed.

Who we see

Outpatient occupational therapy (OT) services at the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre are available for clients aged 18 and older whose needs can be met in an outpatient clinic setting.
